The NeetCode and AlgoMonster figures were read off each vendor's own pricing page in US dollars on 8 August 2026. The others carry a note rather than a number on purpose: LeetCode's pricing page blocks automated checking, AlgoExpert and Educative show different prices in different countries, and Interview Kickstart publishes no price at all — their FAQ sends you to a webinar. Figures for that last one circulate widely but are reported, not official, so you will not find one quoted here. Both vendors I could verify were displaying a discount against a struck-through list price on the day I checked, so compare what the page charges rather than what it claims to be worth.
AlgoExpert is a paid, self-paced video course — so the alternatives split by your reason for leaving: cost (NeetCode is free), more volume (LeetCode), or live feedback (a cohort).

It's a curated set of interview questions with video explanations and a coding environment — good if you like watch-then-code and a defined scope. What it isn't: free, a large practice bank, or a source of feedback on your own work.
